In order to register
Note that you are eligible for the early bird registration if you make the payment on or before Wednesday 31st August.
The fee is the same for onsite and online presenters = (co-)authors), but we offer a reduction for papers with three or more co-authors: at least two attending co-authors have to pay the presenter fee, but *online participation* of any additional co-authors will be charged in the online non-presenter mode. We hope to encourage a broader participation in this way.
Example: Paper with 4 authors, where A1 attends onsite, A2 and A3 online, and A4 doesn’t attend. A1 and A2 pay the presenter fee (= the minimum of two full payments); A3 pays the non-presenter fee (= reduction). If A1, A2, and A3 all attend onsite, they all pay the presenter fee (i.e., no reduction for onsite attendance). We leave it up to you who would be A2 in the above scenario (it doesn’t have to be the second mentioned author on the paper).
If you are not a (co-)author on a paper (non-presenter), make the payment depending on your student/regular status and your onsite/online presence.
The deadline for early bird registration & payment was Wednesday 31 August.
PRESENTER & ONSITE NON-PRESENTER (EARLY BIRD)
ONLINE NON-PRESENTER (+ MULTI-AUTHOR REDUCTION – SEE ABOVE)
PRESENTER & ONSITE NON-PRESENTER (LATE – from 1 September)
We also encourage you to fill out the Conference Tracker survey (maintained by the Committee on Gender Equity in Linguistics).
The conference dinner (on Thursday 15 September, at Altány Kampa) will cost 625 CZK / 25€. It will be paid on site (at the in-person registration) and in cash. You will receive a paper receipt certifying your payment. The dinner will include a starter, main dish, dessert, and a drink of your choice. (Any additional drinks will be paid individually in the restaurant.) There will be a meat, vegetarian, and vegan option (to be specified). You will be able to register for the dinner alongside the conference registration, but no later than *Wednesday 7th September*.
We invite you to join us for an informal guided tour through Prague. It is “informal” in the sense of not being guided by a professional guide, but rather us organizers. (So – if you’re after a real guided tour, you should consider that.) The tour is free of charge. The plan is to take a walk, chat, and occasionally hear or talk about interesting sights or history of Prague. We plan to reserve tables at a suitable restaurant (around 1pm), where we would finish the tour. (Everybody would pay for themselves at the restaurant.)
