The Faculty of Arts at the Charles University is proud to host the 27th Sinn und Bedeutung (SuB), taking place on 14-16 September 2022 in Prague. SuB has in recent years emerged as one of the biggest venues for formal semantics and pragmatics representing the full breadth of the field, and we aim to maintain this tradition.

We invite abstract submissions for oral or poster presentations on topics pertaining to natural language semantics, pragmatics, the syntax-semantics interface, psycho- and neurolinguistics of meaning, and the philosophy of language.

Format and venue

Sinn und Bedeutung 27 is planned as a primarily in-person event, but a virtual option will also be provided. The conference will take place in the center of Prague – in the main building of the Faculty of Arts (nám. Jana Palacha 1/2, Prague).
